Description: It's time again for the Sunnyside Elementary School SpringFest fundraising school carnival. We're a San Francisco public school, and all proceeds from the event go toward funding science projects, art programs, field trips and sports equipment for the kids. This is a working-class, neighborhood school, and SpringFest is our biggest fundraiser of the year.

We've dusted off the hand-made, old-time games of chance (Ring Toss, Milk Bottles, 7-11, Water Race...), fired up the grill and baked some goodies for the bake sale. The K-5 children are ready for a day of play and prizes, and the grownups are excited about winning some raffle prizes. Come spend a fun day of joy, games and sun on the playground, and help us raise some money for the kids!

One Brick will help with the game booth, bake sales, a food stand, art show and sale, raffle tickets and t-shirt sales.

Other Info: Food will be provided.

Clothing is casual and layered as the weather often changes from warm and sunny to cool and cloudy in a short amount of time. Sunscreen or a hat is also recommended.

Meet at the school's playground on Hearst and Foerster streets. There will be signs for volunteer check in.
