Description: One Brick will help Sacred Heart prepare for another week of helping those in need. This may working in Louise's Pantry and Gracie's Clothes Closet.

In the pantry, we will primarily make dried food bags of rice, beans, canned goods, cereals, toilet paper, etc.

In the clothes closet, we will receive clothing donations, sort through donations, and hang clothes on racks. Some cleaning may also be involved.

Organization: Sacred Heart Community Service

Sacred Heart Community Service was founded in 1964 when Louise Benson, then 61, made her first food basket delivery in downtown San Jose. Sacred Heart's mission is to change lives and impact poverty by providing essential services, offering tools for self-sufficiency, and ministering with dignity, compassion and respect. They set out to engage the community and inspire volunteers to love, serve and share.

Driving: From I-280: Take the Virginia Street exit toward CA-82/7th Street. Take the ramp toward CA-82. Make a slight right onto East Virginia Street. Turn left onto South First Street/CA-82.

Please Note: Dress Code: In the pantry and clothes closets, closed-toe shoes are required. Sandals, tank tops, SHORT skirts and SHORT shorts are not permitted. Long pants are preferred.
