Throughout Santa Clara Valley non-native plant species are forcing out our native plant live, in some cases drastically altering local ecosystems. Santa Clara County Parks is making a concerted effort to remove these invasive plants, and a key element to the plan is plain and simple: to pull or dig up of these plants before they continue to propagate. Volunteer crews are crucial to this labor intensive task.
The work plan here is to remove the non-native plant teasel.
